Details[]
They are octopus-like beings that live in the depths of the oceans surrounding the continent of Otaria. They were introduced in Odyssey block, but did not continue past Onslaught block (also not present in Time Spiral block). There is little binding the type together mechanically other than card drawing and/or filling up the graveyard.
Story[]
The cephalids ruled the mer empire. This consisted of Merfolk and the Cephalids. Their leader was Aboshan, Cephalid Emperor until the Mirari destroyed him. Empress Llawan succeeded him.
