Channel is an ability, that allows a player to discard a creature card from his hand for an effect. Normally, the effect that is being triggered by discarding the card is a better version of the ability the creature itself has. It was introduced in Saviors of Kamigawa and was only featured in that edition. In addition to that, Channel can only be found on spirit creatures.
