Because of the popularity of the planeswalkers first released in the Lorwyn set, Wizards of the Coast decided to make theme decks centered around two of them who were at war during the Planeswalker comic strips.
Each deck contains four rare cards which including an alternate art foil mythic rare Planeswalker, and also contains 2 more cards with alternative artwork (usually redesigned to contain the corresponding Planeswalker). The deck also comes with a a strategy insert, 3 tokens, a Magic “Learn to Play” guide, and two deck boxes for storage.
