Magic - The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers is a 1997 PC adaption of MTG, produced by Wizards of the Coast. The Game allowed only 1 vs. 1 games with either an AI opponent or with a human opponent over a network. Game modes were several kinds of gauntlets and also a basic adventure. In the latter the player avatar navigated a world to fulfill quests, and encounters with enemies were taken out as MTG duels.
The game featured card sets from 4th, 5th, Unlimited and Revised edition, plus several booster packs, and also a special "astral" set with cards that adapted to the slightly varied game rules for the computer game.
