Hag is a creature type.

Details

They are most notably found in Eventide with dual-colored creatures. In folklore, hags are often depicted as witches. Notable hags include the witch from Hansel and Gretel and Baba Yaga from Russian folktales. In Magic, there are two types of hags: swamp hags and gwyllions. Swamp hags were formerly goddesses who watched over the woodland marshes. They fell to Earth and lost their divine grace, transforming into grotesque beings who lurk through swamps in search for prey. They have a Green and Black combination. Gwyllions are mischievous witches who target unsuspecting trespassers, torturing their spirits. They have a White and Black combination. A gwyllion named Mowagh is mentioned in several Flavor Texts.
