The power of a creature is a measure for the amount of Damage it can deal in Combat. A creature's power is the number on the left side of the box in the bottom right corner of a creature card. When a creatures Battle, they each deal damage to each others Toughness equal to their powers. if the power of a creature is equal to or greater than the Toughness of the other then the other creature is destroyed (both creatures can be destroyed at the same time because in battle, both creatures deal damage at the same time. for exceptions, see first strike and Double Strike.) A creature with Trample will deal damage to a player if the power is higher than the toughness.
